My Story

Since the days of bobo's and barrets, I've worked with social impact organizations such as National Council of Negro Women participating in youth workshops and programming including speaking at Dr. Dorothy I. Heights' 90th Birthday celebration on the power of self-esteem.  My intersectionality as a Black Woman who grew up in the nation's Capitol has gifted me with a unique perspective of the groundwork needed to connect with multicultural audiences in an authentic and meaningful way that's not often reflected in Corporate America.

After a stint in the hospitality industry supporting the Public Relations and Marketing team at Destination DC and Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, I moved to Los Angeles to tap into my love for film, television, and pop culture. While managing entertainment partnerships and executing multi-channel campaigns on behalf of Samsung, PepsiCo, Frito Lay, The Northface, and Toyota, I recognized a gap between the intention of Diversity and Inclusion campaigns and the realities of the target audience. In 2019, I launched my consulting practice to amplify the voice of marginalized communities by working with lifestyle brands, community organizations, and social impact creatives to effectively impact and engage the communities they serve.

Passionate about the impact of Black America’s influence on mainstream media and global culture, I’ve raised over $100K in sponsorship and in-kind donations to give underrepresented storytellers and emerging executives opportunities to develop relationships with leaders in the Entertainment industry - earning National Urban League Young Professionals’ Outstanding Member of the Year - Western Region award and New Black Power award.

It is my career commitment, to not only develop newsworthy campaigns intersecting my love for pop culture and media but to shine a light on the influence marginalized groups have on culture.  Whether hosting a community event, delivering a creative workshop, or helping clients understand The Engagement Theory, my goal is to uplift and inspire underrepresented communities to own their narratives.
