My Story

Jasmine LaVerne & Co. was born while working at top Public Relations and Marketing agencies where I recognized a gap between the intention of Diversity and Inclusion campaigns and the realities of the target audience.

Over the past decade, I've created a career anchored in relationships, data, and creativity as an integrated communications professional. After a stint in the hospitality industry supporting the Public Relations and Marketing team at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, I moved to Los Angeles to nourish my love for film and television.

Prior to launching Jasmine LaVerne & Co. I managed entertainment partnerships executing multi-channel campaigns on behalf of Samsung, PepsiCo, Frito Lay, The Northface, and Toyota. While collaborating with internal and external teams to produce key moments that would excite both media and consumers, I learned the key to success is to focus on clear communication, have meticulous attention to detail, and strong organization prowess, all while keeping the big picture in mind to build a roadmap with the ability to pivot to stay on track towards flawless execution.

By volunteering with social impact organizations since elementary school - speaking on self-esteem at Dr. Dorothy I. Heights 90th Birthday celebration and participating in youth membership development for the National Council of Negro Women to now serving as Secretary of National Urban Leauge Young Professionals, I have a unique perspective of the groundwork needed to connect with multicultural audiences in an authentic and meaningful way that wasn't reflected in Corporate America.

Passionate about the impact of Black America’s influence on mainstream media and global culture, I’ve raised over $100K in sponsorship and in-kind donations to give underrepresented storytellers and emerging executives opportunities to develop relationships with leaders in the Entertainment industry - earning National Urban League Young Professionals’ Outstanding Member of the Year - Western Region award and New Black Power award.

It is my commitment while building this agency, to not only develop newsworthy campaigns intersecting my love for pop culture and media but to shine a light on the influence marginalized groups have on culture.  Whether hosting a community event, delivering a creative workshop, or building signature multimedia programs for our clients, our goal at Jasmine LaVerne & Co. is to uplift and inspire audiences to own their narratives.
